According to the German car company, the 2012 Porsche 911 model which includes the Carrera and Carrera S coupe will last for 14 years – A two seven-year product lifecycle plan, which means that by 2019, the current model will most likely receive a minor face lift.
This might undoubtedly be a huge mistake due to the increasingly competitive sports car market but Porsche thinks it will be just fine.
Along the line, the new Porsche will eventually turn into a hard top Cabriolet, then a 520hp demon called the 911 turbo in 2013-2014, the Targa with a convenient sliding glass roof, and even hybrids.
